The only weird issue is that iTunes will tell you that CD burning support isn't enabled every time you run it, which while annoying isn't a real problem. I bought a third party app for all my ipods but I'm forced to use iTunes with my iPhone and that sux. The BSOD can occur for many reasons, for example when there is a memory access violation. Double-click it to expand it, then right-click the "Apple iPhone" entry and go to "Properties". In the second row down, you should see "(VersionNT=501 And ServicePackLevel>=2) Or VersionNT=600" or something similar.

I tried messing with it but no luck. Dead easy fix that worked for me was to delete Quicktime, then download Quicktime (stand-alone), re-install, reboot and it all works perfectly well. I just wish that there were better 64-bit OS's So far my favorite 64-bit OS was Ubtuntu. Specifically I need to run iTunes 7.7 on XP 64, with updated drivers to support the new G3 iPhone. If they can code html templates they can also code real applications.
