Rebooted the PC.. I am using the 3TB Seagate drive in my Rosewill RX-358-U3B enclosure, and I have read that a Hitachi 3TB had no compatibility issues in that particular enclosure. It doesn't appear to be on the xw8400 official driver page. If you want availability and better performance use RAID 1+0 - often abbreviated RAID 10 - which combines mirroring and striping to provide 2 complete copies of your data with the 3tb Hard Drive Only Showing 746gb Windows 10 All I did to get the pc to recognize the WD Green 3TB drive was updated the PATA/SATA controller with the latest version.
